She was predeceased by: her parents, R. A. Connell and Daisy Lucinda Ferguson Connell; her sister Syble Ozell Connell Williams; and her former husband John W. Bennett Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ray Roberson of Rome; her children, Deborah B. Stubbs, John W. Bennett Jr. (Shelia), Benny R. Roberson (Elaine) and Janice Roberson Brown; and her grandsons, Richard K. Stubbs II, Chad C. Bennett (Jennifer) and Brad W. Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gray Brown-Service Mortuary (1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207.
