He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson James, Sr. and Pauline Smith; and his siblings, Shelia James, Bobby Joe James and Patrician Ann James.
He is survived by: his children, Caleb James (Amy) and Sydney James (Chi); his grandchildren, Kaylie, Carter, Ryleigh Kate and Paisley; and his brother Jerry James (Peggy).
