With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Wolfe Scott of Roopville, Georgia, born in Dickson, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid James Wolfe farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James Wolfe is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Hubert Scott and Etta Kate Wolfe Scott; and his siblings, Martha Brown, George William "Bill" Scott and Harry Carlton Scott.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Robert Scott, Jack Brown, Valerie Sawyer, Tina Malugin, Karen Saunders, Debbie Harris and Mary Natour.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cooksey Cemetery.
