It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kenneth Johnston Sr. of Roopville, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Johnston and Ozetta Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Donna Johnston; his daughter Serita; his son-in-law Don Stover; his sons, John (Carolee Johnston) and Jason (Kelly Johnston); his grandchildren, Noah Abbott, Jason Johnston, Jr., Summer Johnston, Cameron Johnston and Emma Osborne; his great grandchild Violet Johnston; his sister Susie; his brother-in-law Norbert Bergstresser; his brother Edward; and his sister-in-law Atha Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heaven Bound Church of God (760 Centralhatchee Pkwy, Franklin, GA 30217).
