With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Gordon of Roopville, Georgia, born in Monroe, Georgia, who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Gordon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil McElhannon and Lois Doster McElhannon; her husband Jeff Gordon; and her brother Bennie McElhannon. She is survived by : her sons, Dr. Taylor Gordon (Catherine) of Carrollton and Ben Gordon (Pam) of Roopville; her grandchildren, Rev. Andrew Gordon (Julie) of Macon, Allison, Zach Gordon (Katey) of Carrollton, Alex Gordon (Mary Kate Groninger) of Carrollton and Ross Gordon (Caroline Thompson) of Roopville; and her great grandchildren, Cesia Gordon, Molly Cornay and Amalia Gordon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
