He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Burk; his wife Jane Williams Gilreath; his sister Ann Gilley; his brother-in-law Granville "Buddy" Gilley; and his son Rodney Gilreath.
He is survived by: his grandson Taylor Burnette; his daughters, Leeann (Carroll Roberts) and Karen (Phillip Garrett); his grandchildren, Hunter Burnette, Bethany (Eric Maguire), Jordan DeSantis and Jake-Aaron Roberts; and his great grandchild Ruca DeSantis. He is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.
During his battle with Alzheimer's, his grandsons Hunter and Taylor Burnette were his faithful caregivers.
