He is survived by: his wife Bernice Louise Brown Ray of LaFayette, GA; his sons, Charles Samuel "Sammy" Ray (Dineen) of Chickamauga, GA and Terrell Lee "Terry" Ray (Sherry) of Ringgold, GA; and his grandchildren, Samuel Corey Ray, Benjamin Mathew Ray, Micah Lee Ray and Sarah Emily Ray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
