It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay Sowder Porter of Rossville, Georgia, born in Caryville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Harvey Sowder and Rosa Sharp Sowder. She is survived by : her husband Heartsell Porter; and her siblings, Ray Sowder (Esther) of Crossville, Tennessee, Howard Sowder of Washington State and Joy Reynolds (Willie) of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
