With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Edward Barnes of Rossville, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his father Robert L. Barnes; his wife Rita Louise Blair Barnes; and his brother Bruce Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Barnes (Lisa) of Chickamauga, GA and Karen Wall (Charlie) of Rossville, GA; his siblings, Jeanette Barnes Kelley Kenemore of Higdon, AL, Juanita Lawrence of Wildwood, GA, Geneva Kelley of Ringgold, GA, Nina Barnes of Ringgold, GA, Robert Barnes of Rossville, GA and George Barnes of Rossville, GA; and his grandchildren, Alan Barnes (Sherri), Amy Brown (Steve), Charlie J. "C. J." Wall IV, Thomas Wall, Laura Lee Barnes and Tony Mazzoli. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
