He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurdle T. Wood and Thelma L Wood Grogan; the mother of his children Mildred Wood (Billie); his wife Rosa Wood; his daughter Kimberly Ann Simcox; and his siblings, Margaret White and Rev. Jack Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Davis (Don) of Rossville, GA and Philip Wood (Kim) of Bel Air, MD. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
