He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Nichols and Mary Ruth Nichols; and his siblings, Emily Wheeler and Charles Nichols (Nedra B. Nichols). He is survived by: his wife Nedra; his children, Neal Nichols (Sherri), Sabra Elrod (Steve), Kevin Nichols (Tony) and Jennifer Pollard (Jason); his grandchildren, Natalie Ryans (Brad), Stephanie Fehr (Dane), Brook Day (Brian), Ethan Nichols (Lyssa) and Jack Pollard; his great grandchildren, Jenna, Jake Ryans, Whit, Lucy Fehr, Olivia, Lyla, Sam Day, Norah and Lucas Nichols; and his cousin Nick Morgan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
