He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann McGhee; his children, Timothy James McGhee Sr. (Amanda), Steven Dewayne McGhee and Rhonda Kay Richardson; and his parents, Sherman McGhee and Ethel McGhee.
He is survived by: his children, Crystol Jordan (Javier) and Christy Keys (Jerry); his daughter-in-law Toni McGhee; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, David, Kalyn, Timothy Jr., Alyssia, Lily, Lydia and Leah.
