He is survived by: his son James Hicks (Vickie); his daughter-in-law Kay Hicks; his grandchildren, Amy Morgan, Laura Streets (Robert), Kasey Davenport (Michael) and Sue Ann Glass (Max); his great grandchildren, Courtney Sherrill (Trey), Chase Morgan (Rhionna), Hope Streets, Mikasia Davenport, Michael Davenport Jr., Shelby Glass and Bodie Glass; his great great grandchildren, Charlotte Morgan, Emerie Morgan and Cooper Sherrill; and his wife Betty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park (724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
