He is survived by: his wife Betty Wood; his sons, Kenny Wood (Christine) and Justin Wood (Melissa); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Milam, Mabel and Maggie; and his siblings, Charlie Wood, Sue Crossett and Leslie Wood.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
