Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lucy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Statom and Cleo Marie Statom; her husband Lester D. Allen; and her daughter Donna McDonald. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Lawson (Mark) and Janet Middleton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
