He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Sylvan Erwin and Jannie Elizabeth Rodgers (Cline). He is survived by: his brother Mark Erwin; his children, Connie Erwin-Prince (Paul) and Craig Erwin (Sherri); and his grandchildren, Travis Tucker (Shasta), Brittany Moore, Aaron Tucker (Hanna) and Stormy Brown (JD). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery (1954 Greenwood Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37406).
