She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel G. Nofsinger and Vitula M. Nofsinger; and her brother Gordon H. Nofsinger. She is survived by: her friend Sara Hoover.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Their generosity will live on through their contributions to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they helped fund archeology grants that will inspire and educate generations to come.
