Owen Lee Lewis Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Owen Lee Lewis Sr. of Rossville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Lewis and Mary Lee Lewis; his son Owen Lee Lewis, Jr.; his stepmother Rachel Lewis; and his stepsiblings, George Hughes and Francis Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Croson Lewis; his children, Aaron Wayne Lewis (Cristy) of Martinsville, Virginia, Kevin Thomas Lewis (Allecia) of Rock Spring and Robert Lebron Lively (Hillary) of Ringgold, Georgia; his daughter-in-law Rachel Lewis Cicero; and his sister Brenda Rose Summer of Henderson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Cleveland, Tennessee, in memory of Sgt. Owen Lewis, Sr.
