He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Blevins and Matina Blevins; and his siblings, Dewayne Blevins, Gary Blevins, Lanny Blevins, Garnette Blevins, Myrna Patterson Blevins and Arlene Blevins.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Abbott Blevins; his sons, Rory Blevins (Michelle) and Samm Blevins (Kathy); and his brother Dwight Blevins. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
