He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley E. Gordon and Pearl Gossett Gordon; and his siblings, Margaret "Maggie" Gordon, Judy Dunnington and Gene Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Letricuce "Teresa" Gordon; his children, Tammy Tippens, Wayne Gordon (Flo) and Michelle Bryant (Huston); and his sister Linda Parks. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
