He was predeceased by : his parents, Miah Evitt and Annie Belle Wilson Evitt; his wife Linda Tucker Evitt; and his children, Kay Wallin and Bill Evitt.
He is survived by : his grandchildren, Vann Evitt of Trenton, GA, Tori Baker (Andy) of Summerville, GA, Maegan Dockery (David) of Birmingham, AL and Jessica Bowman (Joel) of Trenton, GA; and his close friends, Joe Wilbanks of LaFayette, GA and Penny Humphries. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
