In loving memory of Ruth K. Turner of Rossville, Georgia, who departed this world on November 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Ruth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iris Killingsworth and Ernest Killingsworth; her siblings, Doris Wade and J. D. Killingsworth; and her son Russell Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Powell (Vic) and Rod Turner (Marty); her grandchildren, Jami Piatt, Jordan and Jay Turner; and her great grandchildren, Piper, Presley and Parker Piatt.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rock Pointe Church (1278 Cross St, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation or the Read to Lead Academy at The Bethlehem Center in Chattanooga.
