It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Edward Hickman of Rossville, Georgia, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cledus and Juanita Estelle Hickman; his former wife Virginia Ruth Hicks-Hickman; his children, Odis Hickman and Kim Phifer; his grandsons, Charles Cook and Austin Luna; and his siblings, Jimmy Hickman, Odis Hickman, Willard Hickman, Joice Adams and Betty Daughtery.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Hickman; his children, Steve Hickman, Jr., Juanita Luna (Keith) and Greg Mulkey (Betty); his grandchildren, Chris Cook, Justin Cook, Jenny Dela Rosa, Ashley Brownell (Andrew), Seth Hickman, III (Kaylie), Jonathan Hickman (Bailey), Noah Phifer, Caleb Cole and Jared Cole; and his sister Stella Fairbanks. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
