He was predeceased by: his parents, Myral Davis and Lillian Davis; his children, Sammy Davis and Stephanie "Sissy" Davis; and his siblings, Jimmy Davis, Linda Asher, Faye Hunter and Johnny Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Davis; his children, Kim and Sonya Davis; his stepson Danny Ellison; and his siblings, Jack Davis, Shelby Langer, Ronald Davis, Ernie Davis, Ricky Davis and William "Bill" Davis. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
