He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Eugene Burnette and Mary Euggenia Chapman; his former wife Vicky Gene Burnette; and his granddaughter Kayla Burnette. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Burnette (Branda), Glenn Burnette, Victor Burnette (Kimberly) and Teaquila Holmes (Jay); his wife Melanie Hall; his sisters, Barbara Jean Dye, Priscilla Locklear, Patricia Gracie and Mary Virginia; his grandchildren, Andrew Rider, Brandi Watkins, Hayley Atchley and Glenn Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Rylin Watkins, Kai Watkins, Wakley Atchley, Ryker Atchley and Ivan Burnette.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
