He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Cooke; his son Donald Cooke; his parents, John D Cooke and Gladys E Cooke; and his sisters, Gail Hoge and Ann Stoker Sheppard.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. William J Cooke, Jr., Deborah Jean Cooke Raines (Kenny), Robert Wayne Cooke (Lori) and Lisa Darlene Cooke Clark (Steve); his grandchildren, Ronwyn Marie Raines (Wendy), Elisha Nicole Raines Maxwell, Courtney Clark Grice, Shelly Clark Osburn, Austin Miller (Kathryn) and Hailey Bent (Dale); and his siblings, Jack Cooke (Pete), Linda Powell and Dan Cooke (Kay). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
