James David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor James David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though James David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Benkert and Emma Benkert; his brother Will Benkert; and his pet Harry. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church (11330 Woodstock Rd, Roswell, GA 30075).
