He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy Lee Trobaugh Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Reed Trobaugh; his children, James Jeffrey Trobaugh, Cori Connolly and Wendy Trobaugh; his stepdaughter Sherry Simpson; and his siblings, Tom Trobaugh and Gloria Shelton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Northside Chapel (12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075).
