Joy T. Strachan Obituary

We announce the death of Joy T. Strachan of Roswell, Georgia, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 77. Joy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon John S. Strachan; and her parents, Anthony Cocchiarella and Eleanor Cocchiarella. She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Molly Strachan of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Heather; her son-in-law Mitchell Jones of Gainesville, GA; her grandchildren, Jessica Lange, Kalen Strachan, Shelby Strachan and Ryan Jones; her great grandchild Anthony Clevenger; her brother Patrick; her sister-in-law Jeanne Cocchiarella; and her nieces and nephews, Carrie Allen, Tara Barreira, James Strachan, Robert Strachan and Patrick Cocchiarella.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
