She was predeceased by: her parents, Ream Milton Clapper, Sr. and Evelyn Lind Clapper; her brothers, Ream Jr. and Eugene Arthur; her son-in-law Greg Melton; and her daughter Tamara Lind Baker (Thomas Gordon Bartels).

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Inglima (Jerrold Inglima) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Steve Bartels (Pamela) of Des Moines, Lise Melton of Des Moines and Nancy Kunkel (Joseph Kunkel) of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mission Partners of Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church Alpharetta, GA.
