He was predeceased by: his parents, P. K. Philipose of Valiaveetil and Rajamma Philipose of Vadakkedathu, Omalloor.. He is survived by: his wife Beena Mary Philipose; his children, Arati, Anjali and Alex; his grandchildren, Andy and Anna; his brothers, Retired Commander John Philipose and Pradeep Philipose; and his brother-in-law George Mathew (Babu).
