He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Susan Horner Steinwart; his children, Todd Steinwart of Carrboro, NC, Jennifer Graham (Brendan), Melbourne and David Steinwart (Katherine Shillinglaw) of Marietta, GA; and his grandchildren, Zackery, Madison and Annie.
