He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathryn Meyer Hansard; his brother Vic Jr.; and his nephew Vic Hansard III. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Long; his children, Cooper and Sara Beth; and his siblings, Kit Hansard (Cheryl), Kerry Hansard, Bonnye Hansard Woodlief, Marnee Meyer Hansard and Hollye Hansard Letourneau (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
