We announce the death of Betty Jo Human of Royston, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude O'Kelley and Lila Duncan O'Kelley; and her siblings, Peggy Smith, Ruby Gunter, Frances Shiflet and Johnny O'Kelley.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy David Human; her children, Kerry Banks of Statham, GA and Scott Human of Royston; her siblings, Sue Melton of Athens, GA and George O'Kelley of Danielsville, GA; and her grandchildren, Taylor Banks, Brandon Banks, Madisyn Human, Michael Banks, Elyssa Banks, Deegan Human and Dessie Human. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
