She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Haney, Sr. and Mary Thornton Haney; and her sisters, Mary "Peggy" Compton and Pat Johnson. She is survived by: her husband George Pilgrim; her daughters, Kim Alewine (Tim) of Royston, GA, Melissa Vaughn (Jeff) of Bowman, GA and Suzanne Strickland (Joey) of Canon, GA; her grandchildren, Nichole Norman, Tiffany Martin, Jonathon Alewine, Joseph Strickland, Brianna Vaughn and Emily Vaughn; and her great grandchildren, Khloe Martin, Jason Strickland, Alayna Strickland and Havan Martin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pruitt Funeral Home (47 Franklin Springs St, Royston, GA 30662). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel (47 Franklin Springs St, Royston, GA 30662).
