She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Watson and Willie Mae Westbrook Power; the father of her children L. T. Phillips; her son Lance Terry Phillips; and her siblings, James Power, Kathleen Hays and Orlean Gilreath.
She is survived by: her son Sam Phillips of Bowman, GA; her sisters, Sue Crider and Barbara Stewart; Marsha Briscoe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the New Hope Worship Center Cemetery (8485 US-29, Danielsville, GA 30633).
