He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Watson and Lessie Bone Watson; and his brothers, James, Walter Lee, Ray and W. A. Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Shattuck Watson; his daughters, Cheryl Minyard (Wayne), Jean Lowe (Clayton), Coni Hix (Ricky) and Karla Harris (Todd); and his sister Barbara Dove (Herman). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 1:45 PM.
