He was predeceased by: his parents, George Neal Stewart (Tom) and Rosy May Agnew Stewart; and his sister Susan Grubb. He is survived by: his wife Norma Bennett Stewart; his children, Dylan Stewart of Kansas, Jasmine Shay and Trista Tuttle of Colorado; and his siblings, John Stewart of Kansas and Emma Ross of Fayetteville, GA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
