It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Valentine of Rutledge, Georgia, born in Madison, Georgia, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bonny Shepherd and Elease Hawk Shepherd; and her husband Hunter Valentine. She is survived by : her stepchildren, Hatton Valentine, Missy, Jim Valentine, Janna, Scott Valentine and Kia; and her brothers, Alan Shepherd (Sara) and Mark Shepherd (Fay). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutledge United Methodist Church PO Box 129 Rutledge, GA 30663.
