He was predeceased by : his parents, Fletcher Mathews Valentine and Virginia Smith Valentine. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Shepherd Valentine; his sons, Scott Valentine (Kia) of Williston, SC, Hatton Valentine (Missy) of Atlanta and Jim Valentine (Janna) of Atlanta; his granddaughters, Mary Scott Valentine, Anna Valentine, Flynn Valentine, Ellie Valentine and Olivia Valentine; his great grandchild Eli Roberts; his sister Kathryn Valentine Morgan of Wilson, NC; his nephews, Bill Blackman (Rose) and Hunter Blackman; and his niece Judy Morgan Satterfield (Bart).
