With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rex Duane Robertson of Rutledge, Georgia, born in Lithonia, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Robertson and Ruth Robertson; and his spouse Shirley Abbott Robertson. He is survived by: his children, Libby Young, Neil, Barry Robertson and Joan; his grandchildren, Justin Young, Beth, Krista Laster and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Faith, Ava, Cecelia Young, Harlee and Luke Laster.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
