He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Robert and Viola Maude Thurman Allen; and his brothers, Dennis Richard Allen and Harry Bradford Allen. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mavis McClure Allen; his children, Rachel Allen Hulsey (Ned), Rhonda Allen Atkins (Jerremy) and Lanny Allen (Kara); his grandchildren, India Hulsey, Ethan Hulsey, Mason Young, Matthew Allen and Evelyn Allen; his sisters, Helen Smith and Patsy J. Allen; and his niece Carri Dunlap (Matt).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home (131 Summer St, Adairsville, GA 30103). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Providence Cemetery (165 Old Tennessee Rd NE, Cartersville, GA 30121-5135).
