She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhoda Miller Hurley and Wilfred L. Hurley of Brockton, MA.; and her brother Joseph Hurley. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth F. Black; and her children, Lisa Black-Sholudko, Laurie S. Moore (Chris) and Mitchell K. Black (Martha). She is also survived by adopted son, twelve grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
She was 89 and succumbed to complications from Alzheimer's disease.
