Bessie Walker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bessie Walker of Saint Marys, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bessie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bessie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Kennedy and Bernice Barlow Kennedy; her husband Rev. Loyce "Buddy" Walker; and her children, Debra Turner, Pam Delahunt and Tim Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Prescot (Rusty) of St. Marys, Dianne Pittman (Wilson) of Welaka and Mike Walker (Tammy) of Valdosta; and her siblings, Margret Tyre (Carlos Esposito) of Lakeland, FL and David Kennedy of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
