He is survived by : his pet Finn; his daughters, Ashton Mills of St. Marys, GA and Kaylyn Mills of Kingsland, GA.; his girlfriend Jamie Helderbrand of St. Marys, GA.; his sister Shelly Brandel (Matt) of Greenville, SC.; his grandson Gavin Tanner of Kingsland, GA.; and his stepdaughters, Cara Helderbrand of St. Marys, GA. and Kursten Helderbrand of St. Marys, GA..
