She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ashoford and Elizabeth Bassham; her husband Homer Snyder; and her siblings, Louise Bassham, Omie Swenton (Libby), Maggie Shilling, Bessie Bassham, Helen George (Virginia), Theopolis Bassham (Buddy) and Melvin Bassham.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Tugalo Baptist Church (2740 E Silver Shoals Rd, Toccoa, GA 30577). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Georgia National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tugalo Baptist Church, P.O. Box 744, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Doris Snyder.
