We bid farewell to Francis Kernan of Saint Marys, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Francis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis F. Kernan, Sr. and Gertrude Kernan (Carmody); his wife Mary; and his sister Mary Lou Dunlay (Jim). He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Brown (Ray) of Woodbine and Richard Kernan (Bernice) of Blythewood, SC; his grandchildren, Richard Kernan (Bailey) of Colorado Springs, CO and Faith Kernan of Charleston, SC; his great grandchild Weston; his sisters, Patricia Blough (John) of Oakmont, PA and Kathleen Anger (Terry) of Bend, OR.; and his uncle Frank. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (106 Dillingham St E, St Marys, GA 31558).
