James Weldon Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 63, James Weldon Jr. of Saint Marys, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Weldon, Sr. and Barbara Francis McComb Weldon. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Kay Petron Weldon of North Dakota; his children, Hannah Jenae Weldon Thiriet (Pierre Thiriet), Kaley Joy Weldon Dean (Nathan Dean) and Jacob Foster Weldon (Brynn Weldon); and his siblings, Steve Weldon (Kay Weldon) and Sherrill Fischer (Danny Jenkins).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ's Church (250 Lake Pointe Dr, Kingsland, GA 31548, USA).
