With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jedon Stephens of Saint Marys, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Higgs and Sophie Higgs; her husband Ollie M. Stephens; her daughter Loyette Beard; her son-in-law Brady Crosby; her great grandchild Rachel Hodge; and her siblings, Vondell Collins, Monteen Jarriel, Hubert Higgs, Milton Higgs, Pearl Hughes and V. A. Higgs.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Stephens (Lynn) and Deborah Crosby; her son-in-law Sam Beard; her sister Merita Etheridge; her grandchildren, Melissa, Chris Hodge, Vic, Kathy Crosby, Chris Crosby, Valerie, Eric McCullough, Sam, CariBeth Beard, Ashley, Shawn McGowan, Trent, Stephanie Stephens, Michael Stephens, Heather and Gary Downs; her great grandchildren, Chandler, Kali Hodge, Kayla Crosby, Braylin Crosby, Madeline Crosby, Kaitlyn, Josh Hartman, Riley McCollum, Dawson Beard, Chelsea, Levi Simmons, Aubrigh Stephens, Malachi Stephens, Alexander Stephens, Shae Simmons, Talon Downs, Willow Downs, Brookston McGowan, Brayden McGowan and Brody McGowan; and her great great grandchildren, Maeleigh Hodge, Levi Hodge, Hattie Hodge, Samantha Simmons, Sophie Simmons and Wiley Simmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allison Memorial Chapel (10141 Colerain Rd, St Marys, GA 31558). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brunswick Memorial Park (4407 US-17, Brunswick, GA 31525).
