He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Roper and Frances Roper (Greenway); his wife Glenda Roper (Dill); his children, Leslie Lathan (Johnny), Dustin McDuffie (Crystal), JJ Roper (Rona) and Jessica Miller (Bryson); his sister Terri Burden (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Molly McDuffie, Cameron, Case Lathan, Charlie and Jack Roper.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church (2973 Mt Olivet Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643).
In lieu of flowers memorials in Jeff's Honor may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
